Multi-Tool Additive Manufacturing System

The DREAMS lab has developed a first of its kind multi-tool additive manufacturing system with the unique capability of combining multiple technologies on one platform. The open-source system supports binder jetting, vat photopolymerization, material jetting, and extrusion (paste and filament), which are all mounted on a single toolhead such that technologies can be switched during a build. The system has been more recently used for embedding electronics and evaluating new jetted polymers.
