Josh Brandman
M.S. 2017, Mechanical Engineering
Josh graduated from Virginia Tech in Spring 2016 with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and a minor in computer science. As an undergraduate, Josh joined the DREAMS Lab in Fall 2013 as a member of the DreamVendor maintenance team. He stayed involved with the lab and competed in both of its vehicle design grand challenges. In Fall 2016, Josh started working in the lab as a first year master’s student, advised by Dr. Chris Williams. Josh’s research focused on the detection and prevention of attacks on cyber-physical systems. He graduated in Spring 2017, and is currently working at SpaceX.
