Dave McCarthy
M.S. 2012, Mechanical Engineering
Dave graduated from Virginia Tech in 2011 with a Bachelor’s and in 2012 with his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering. Dave spent over two years working for General Electric Energy in manufacturing engineering and failure analysis roles. His interests include design & production integration, renewable energy technologies, lean manufacturing, and life-cycle analysis. Dave completed his Master’s in the DREAMS Lab producing end-use products by metal plating additively manufactured complex polymers structures.
